Thank you! To everyone who donated and helped support me during this training I wanted to say thank you. You helped me raise over $600 for pancreatic cancer research and helped me complete a life goal – a marathon.
Thanks again!

All too often I hear from my friends “I could never run that far” or “you ran 11 miles I wish I could run 1 mile.” Well I too was once that person, running a single mile was impossible for me, that was until I realized that the barrier was all mental. “Just don’t stop” that was the advice I was given. I realized that it was my mind that was telling my body it had had enough and not me being physically unable to complete the distance. So when I broke through that barrier I plowed through it, in less than a years’ time I went from a guy who could not finish a mile to a 10k and half marathon finisher and now I am running distances that I never thought I could or would be able to complete. And trust me folks the rewards are well worth the effort; mental fortitude, physical fitness, decrease in stress, I have experienced it all. Running has made me mentally sharp, has cut inches off of my waistline and allows me a break away from the stress of daily life. So unless you are physically impaired or injured I would tell everyone to push your body to the limit you’ll be surprised at how far you can go.
